A Georgia elementary school is under fire for giving their 3rd grade students homework that referred to slaves and beatings. They claim that the questions were asked in an attempt to mix social studies with math. One ignorant question asked, “Each tree had 56 oranges. If eight slaves pick them equally, then how much would each slave pick?” The h*ll???

In another question they were asked, “If Frederick got two beatings per day, how many beatings did he get in one week?” Ummm, so are they talking about Fredrick Douglas? What kind of nonsense is this?  I’m not buying their Bee Ess excuse.

I see the person that compiled these questions as being racially insensitive or crazy. It sounds like these teachers are in need of racial sensitivity training…..and I mean pronto. What do you think?

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, twitter and facebook are making us too laid back with punctuation and spelling.  I mean what is nd and why say da instead of the?  I’m talking about spelling, but these videos take it to a whole new level.

This video infiltrates random twitter users as being not too bright and it’s so on point.   This video definitely goes beyond spell check.   I’m still trying to get a grasp on 13/13/13……OMGeeeeeeee. We definitely have to do better in 2012.  Alonzo is out there, he’s watching tweets and he’s putting folks on FULL BLAST.

This video hits it on the head and it’s hilarious. Loved it.
