A Lil Insight on “Sh*t White Girls to Black Girls”
The star of the parody “Sh*t White Girls Say to Black Girls” was interviewed by Anderson Cooper. Anderson basically wanted to know what prompted her to make the video and he also wanted to know what the audience felt about the video. I promise you; I have heard so many of the same things said to me. The one that I related to the most was the hair thing.
A lot of times they didn’t believe it was mines, because of the weave craze. Perfect strangers would ask to touch my hair or they would just stare. My son once told me that his friends play in his hair. We just laughed about it and shook our heads. I don’t get offended nor did I think it was racist. I think they’re just curious. Yes, it is a bit tacky, but harmless nonetheless. I’m just glad that they ask before they go all diggin’ around in it. With the right person; that my friend will get you slapped. I guess we as blacks aren’t so curious about their hair texture, because we already know by playing with our dolls. IDK, I’m just not curious to touch their hair. All and all, I don’t see why some of the ladies in the audience were so shook about being called out in the parody. If it did; maybe it hit a nerve. I mean it’s true,so why are you offended?
Any who, since going viral with her first video, Francesca has also reloaded a newer version of the video “Sh*t White Girls Say to Black Girls II.” Just like the first it did not disappoint.
Side Note: Francesca’s natural look is to die for. She looks stunning. I wish folks would embrace that natural look a lot more. All that eyeshadow looks homie the clown like to me. Don’t get me wrong, I wear makeup, but I try to keep it minimal.
Side Note II: Who made up this “reverse discrimination” crap? Every race can be discriminated against. Now that term is just ignorant. Black folks can not and are not the only ones that can be a victim of racism. Racism is amongst us all. TRUTH
