Sighting Whispers: Jay Z Appears at His 40/40 Club Grand Reopening + Other Celebs Sighted
Jay Z made his first appearance since the birth of Blue, last night at the grand reopening of his 40/40 Club in New York City. Jay’s 40/40 closed last summer to undergo renovations and is now back with an updated look. Jay breezed past the carpet trying to dodge reporters and flashing lights.
Jay declined talking to members of the press, but when congratulated on the newest member of his family Jay simply responded, “Thank you,” with a new pappy grin.
Of course Beyonce didn’t make it out. Unless things have changed, she is suppose to stay put for 6 weeks with the exception of doctor appointments, but several die hard New Yorkers who are celebrities made it out to support Jay. Ashanti, Spike Lee, Switzz Beatz, and none other than Warren Buffet, Questlove, Steve Stoute, Kevin Liles, Wale, Irv Gotti and CC Sabathia were all in the building to help Big Pappy Jay celebrate.
