Rewind Whispers: 2012 Grammy Awards – Adele Wins Big and Performs

I simply adore this chicka right here. Hear me? She stays humble and can sing her azz off. Miss Adele won herself 6 Grammy Awards. Our girl made Grammy history last night, winning in all six categories in which she was eligible to win. She tied with BIC’s momma, who coveted 2010 record for most Grammys won by a female artist in one night. I didn’t think anyone would touch Bey’s record so soon, but hey there’s room for everyone right? Adele’s pic reminded me of when Michael Jackson was trying to hold on to all of his Grammy’s that night he had won for Thriller, but I digress. Congrats Adele!!!

Rewind Whispers: Chris Brown’s 2012 Grammy Awards Performances

Breezy appeared to be having the best night ever. Chris Brown won the Grammy for Best R&B Album for F.A.M.E. Breezy won his award over R. Kelly (“Love Letter”), El DeBarge (“Second Chance”), Ledisi (“Pieces of Me”), and Kelly Price (“Kelly”). Chris dedicated the award to “Team Breezy” for their undying support. He also got a chance to hang out with the iconic Stevie Wonder. Pics courtesy of The YBF

Update: It never even occurred to me that Chris would be catching so much flack for winning a Grammy. He’s not messing with folks or doing stuff to make folks day go bad….nothing. He’s just minding his own business doing his thing and doing great by the way, but some mo fo’s hate to see a person a achieving greatness. Unbelievably petty. Rihanna ain’t pissed, why are you? Some folks need let go and mind your own dang on businesses. Oh yeah get a life…they’re free.

Rewind Whispers: Nicki Minaj 2012 Grammy Awards Performance

Nicki opted for the Gothic vibe this year and I’m hearing a lot of negative feedback on the matter. Personally, I could have did without. It just didn’t do anything for me. However, as always Nicki left everyone talking, as well as scratching their heads. She’s obviously on some other ish. This completely falls on that vibe the Stupid H*e video gave me. That video was just plain ole silly and reckless as a “Barbie” spewing performer. Yes, Sophia Grace and Rosie were in the building.

For the most part everyone looked really good. I’m convinced that Nicki’s main objective is make waves. She never disappoints when it comes to her over the top and thought provoking outfits.
