Bobbi Kristina, daughter of the late Whitney turned 19 today. There is no doubt this will be a very difficult birthday to celebrate; if she celebrates it at all. She’ll probably be thinking about what they did last year and what they would have done this year. Today has to be one of many hard days to come as she deals with her first year with many holidays or occasions without her mom. She is now being comforted by her grandmother Cissy Houston, Uncle Gary and Aunt Pat.
“She’s doing okay,” a source close to the family recently told People magazine. “She’s still obviously got a lot to deal with but she’s doing a little better each day, and being back home in Atlanta seems to be a good thing.”
Additionally, Oprah has been granted the first interview with Bobbi and other members of the Houston family. Oprah Winfrey flew into Atlanta late last week to tape the exclusive interview with Bobbi Kristina and other relatives.The interview will broadcast on OWN. The show “Oprah’s Next Chapter” will feature Bobbi Krisitna, as well as Patricia Houston, her sister-in-law and manager, and Houston’s brother Gary. It is scheduled to air next Sunday, March 11th at 9p EST.
