Jay Z to Live Stream South By Southwest Concert

Jay-Z is set to return to the Austin city limits for a special live-stream concert event. The event, “Amex Sync Show Presenting Jay-Z,” was announced Tuesday, March 6, in conjunction with a new Twitter initiative for American Express cardholders.

Jay-Z’s SXSW performance will be live-streamed on YouTube.com on Monday at 8 p.m. ET. A special rebroadcast will be available on-demand from Tuesday, March 13, to Monday, March 19, on YouTube, Twitter and Xbox LIVE.

This is just an FYI…..I just thought you’d appreciate the heads up.

Video: Kid Cudi Goes Off on Stage After His Set Was Cut Short

Cleveland native Kid Cudi performed this past weekend at the Heatwave Music Festival in Melbourne in what was suppose to be an 80 min. set.  The festival’s opening act started three hours late, so they cut everyone’s set to 30 min to make up for time. You know most folks were there primarily for Cudi, but to be fair they cut everyone’s time equally.

Any who, when he went over on his revised 30 min. set time, the festivals promoters turned off all the mics on stage.  What did they do that for?  The homie went ballistic.  He reportedly broke a few lights and what not.

A po’d, Cudi took to his tumblr and said, “If my set is EVER cut short at any show, im trashing the stage.” (sic)

Apparently the promoters felt that it was a bad decision to wait 3 hours for and opening act, because they are issuing refunds.  Cudi posted refund information in the comments of this video.

The promoters sound like amateurs.  Who holds a show up 3 hours for one act?  I would have kept things moving and stuck their late azzes in last if at all.  Wompity!!

Sorry this is so late. There is something wrong with one of my plugins. I’ve been losing whole posts and changes/updates wont change. I’m till trying to find out which plugin it is.
