Today marks the fourth without Michael J. Jackson, and his 55th birthday, the best performer that has graced any stage in the world. It was difficult to find any one single performance; as they were all absolutely spectacular. I finally chose the FULL LENGTH 47 min. video of Michael Live in Concert in Sydney, Australia. Here he is performing at his HIStory Tour, it features Michael arriving via Mission Control. He goes on to performs Scream, They Don’t Care ABout Us, Stranger in Moscow, Jackson Five Medley, Billie Jean, Black or White and HIStory.
Additionally, BET is airing Michael Jackson:Life of an Icon at 1pm today and they also showed it last night. That movie left me with the certainty that he led a difficult life. It was hard to watch the details of what he went through.
I am truly at a place where I feel he is in a much better place, but the selfish side of me still wishes he were still here. Westley Snipes talked about Michael’s passing and once said, “we didn’t take care of him the way we should have.” That movie special amplified that statement for me. He was a special person, with special talents, and he should have been protected better than he was, but he is finally R.I.P
I also leave you with my favorite video of all time “Thriller.” The video had more than 146 million views and steadily climbing. That has to be some type of record.
