Rewind Whispers: Medley of 2012 Super Bowl Commercials (10)

Enjoy this medley of Super Bowl 2012 Game Day commercials. I included some of my favorites that included Clint Eastwood, Elton John, Flava Flav and David Beckam. Swizz and Maino got a chance to make their songs work for an ad too. They even brought Mathew Broderick back to reinvent ”Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” I believe there were a total of 18 commercials, but don’t quote me. I know I went overboard listing 10 of them.

Top spot goes to Chrysler and Clint Eastwood. If you know me; you know why. *wink*

Did you guys peep Merna from “Martin”

This one with David Beckam certainly didn’t disapoint either.

Aside from dude needing a bit of sun; Mather Broderick looks good after all these years.

Rewind Whispers: Madonna and Her Roman Empire Slay Super Bowl 2012 Halftime Show

She’s back!!! Madonna hit the Super Bowl’s half-time stage with LMAO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A, Cee-Lo Green and an amazing group of background dancers and singers. Madge led her Roman empire into an extraordinary and elaborate performance that was nothing more that EPIC like only she could. Aside from the complaints about her lip syncing, twitter was buzzing with positive feedback as well. Personally, I didn’t mind the lip syncing at all. When the artist are dancing around and changing up like that it’s should be understood.

Any who……Starting with “Vogue” was a nice choice. I wont go bat crazy trying to figure out how they did the Vogue flooring thingy, but it was spectacular. Not to mention the costumes and special FX did not disappoint either. If you didn’t know a 53 year old can still get down like that; you definitely found out yesterday. The tight rope walking dude was amazing too. IDK if that was a giant rubber band or what, but he rocked it.

Lastly, M.I.A…..When you are invited as a GUEST anywhere you are expected to behave accordingly. I thought it was pretty rude and distasteful to taint someone else’s performance the way she did. H*ll, at least act like you have some manners. Now it is forever marred, but only slightly, because like said, Madge slayed. I hope the media doesn’t give her too much attention. Obviously that was her goal. She definitely needed to get her name out there and she did.
