The shows are part of Miuccia Prada‘s spring/summer 2012 collection. Prada designed a collection of shoes inspired by the American tail-fin era. The colors include Cadillac red and racing green. Flames fires from the back of the shoes just as they would in a original hot rod’s exhaust pipe. The detailing on the shoes comes from the polished chrome metal work, or the geometric shapes of the cars’ tail-fins.
At first look they didn’t do anything for me and they still don’t, but I know Rihanna will rock the ish out of these. The girl just has that zeal for making things so rockable. I wouldn’t go near these shoes with any Armoral. Well ladies, would U rock?
