Two Men Allege Discrimination in “The Bachelor” TV Casting

Two black men are taking “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” to court with a lawsuit that claims the reality shows are blocking contestants of color from starring roles.  The men feel that they were not seriously considered as contenders because they were black.  Ya think?  This has been obvious since half past the show started.

Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson filed a federal lawsuit in Nashville against the shows, claiming they are engaged in a pattern of racial discrimination that intentionally excludes people of color. The Nashville men said at a casting call in August that they were given scant consideration compared to white men seeking a leading role for “The Bachelor.”

We’ve seen the pattern with these shows for years, so it’s really no surprise, but something definitely needs to be done.  Sure, they include minorities as the choices, but they are NEVER considered serious contenders to win the single guy or gal.  Even as a viewer we know the minorities they add as choices are used just to pacify the audience.  Yeah, we’ve seen you for a long time Buddy!  I have never been able to take the shows seriously because of their obvious shenanigans.  It’s not like the only two black applicant’s backgrounds weren’t impressive enough.

Nathaniel is a 39-year-old college graduate and electric company meter reader who owns several small businesses.  He also played linebacker for Middle Tennessee State then for the Arena Football League and Nashville’s semi-professional team, the Nashville Storm, from 2001 to 2011.  He’s not bad on the eye’s either.  He thinks attitudes will change once the show gets a black man in the lead role. He says, “I  equate it to black quarterbacking in the NFL.  When you give them an opportunity, they always come through.”  It may also boost their very sloppy ratings too Nate, but they don’t hear us though.

Christopher is a 26-year-old teacher who was just hired to coach high school football.  He is also trying to get into the NFL.  He is also easy on the eyes.  Regarding the lawsuit he says, “I only wanted a fair shot at the part. Looking back at how I was treated at the casting call last year, it was clear that that wasn’t possible. I never even had a chance.”

The lawsuit claims that the shows and the entertainment companies are violating a provision of the 1866 Civil Rights Act that bars businesses from refusing to contract with others because of their race and a California law that prohibits racial discrimination.

The two men are asking the federal court to order the companies to consider people of color as finalists for the leading role in the TV shows. They are also asking that the suit be certified class-action so others could join the litigation.

Their attorneys said it is the first racial discrimination lawsuit filed against a reality show. It does not ask for a specific dollar amount of damages, but it does propose to make major changes in how people are seen on TV.

Both shows have come under fire in recent years for not having enough diversity and now it’s being brought to the forefront and it needs to be dealt with.  I’m really interested in seeing how this whole thing plays out.   Are you?

McDonald’s Worker Caught Spitting in Customer’s Drinks

*Don’t read this while eating.  This is just gross.*

A Mickey D’s worker was busted after  a clump of phlegm was found floating in a customer’s sweet tea.  The customers had complained that their tea wasn’t sweet enough, so they brought it back, but when they got home it still wasn’t sweet enough.  So they opened the lid to add more sugar and found woogies.

I’m already freaked out by several things when it comes to eating at a restaurant and this just solidifies it.  I avoid sending improperly cooked food back for fear that it may get stomped or spit on before it get’s back to my plate.  I also order a cup for tea, so I can clean my utensils in hot water before I throw down.

You do not mess with folks food; you just don’t.  I say off with that fool’s head d*mn it.  Do you have a sanitation ritual you go through when dining out?

A McDonald’s employee is facing felony charges after caught spiting in two customers’ cups of iced tea after the drinks were returned for not being sweet enough.

Authorities in South Carolina say 19-year-old Marvin Washington Jr. was arrested Wednesday and charged with malicious tampering with food.

‘They go home, pop the lids off their sweet tea to put some sugar in it and low and behold, to much of their surprise, a very large chunk of bodily fluid and phlegm in the top of their drink,’ a health worker told WSPA.

Greenville County investigators say surveillance video caught Washington leaning over the cups before he filled them Saturday at the Simpsonville restaurant for a mother and her daughter.

The owner of the McDonald’s says he follows stringent food safety procedures and asked people not to reach conclusions until all the facts come out.

Washington was released on a $5,000 bond but faces felony charges which could be up to 20 years in prison.  ‘If something is deliberately done to your food product it becomes a health issue,’ the health worker said.  It wasn’t immediately clear Wednesday if Washington had a lawyer.

Good luck finding one that won gag at the sight of his filthy azz.

Does This Photo Make You Uncomfortable??? (Video & Pic)

Well does it? It certainly makes me very uncomfortable. They claim that the cake was “designed to highlight the issue of female genital mutilation.” GTHOH That then makes it insensitive as well as tasteless. I’m looking at this picture and all I see is a bunch of white that think it’s crazy funny to cut up a cake made into the depiction of a black woman dressed in African tribal gear. For them to feel that this was okay baffles the heck out of me.  I don’t think they never thought this would make it public….that’s what it is.

Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth, Sweden’s culture minister, had appeared at the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm when she was invited to cut the cake which was designed like a naked African woman.

The Swedish minister cut pieces from the black cake, which had blood-red sponge and was designed to highlight the issue of female genital mutilation.
Despite the intentions of the bizarre cake, however, critics described it as a ‘racist spectacle’, and demanded Ms Liljeroth resigned for participating in the ‘tasteless’ event.

The Association for African Swedes said the cake was a crude racist caricature which ‘makes a mockery of racism’.

Kitimbwa Sabuni, a spokesperson for the group, told Swedish news agency TT: ‘To say that you did this for a good cause only makes the mockery of people who are victims of racism and of circumcision worse.’

Mr Sabuni told a Swedish newspaper Ms Liljeroth’s participation in a dubious event with cannibalistic overtones showed her ‘incompetence and lack of judgment’.

Makode Linde, the artist who came up with the cake, had placed his own head at the top of the cake and said it had been misunderstood.
The black cake, part of an exhibition on World Art Day, was intended as part of the artist’s project illustrating degrading stereotypes of black people through history.

Liljeroth, whose photograph cutting a piece of the cake was widely shown in Swedish media, said she understood why people would be offended by the incident.

She said in a statement: ‘I was invited to speak at World Art Day about the freedom of art and its right to provoke.

‘And then they wanted me to cut into the cake. I don’t review art, but I can very well understand that this whole situation was misunderstood.’

Mom Drops Child Off at Daycare; Finds Three Staff Members Shot Dead

A mom dropped off her child at daycare, but after feeling uneasy she called the daycare back.  While speaking to a daycare worker, the phone went dead.  This is when she returned to find the daycare workers deceased and her child unharmed.  One of the deceased has been identified as DeLois Brown.   She happens to be the daycare owner.  Read on for more details.

 

A mother who had a suspicious feeling after she dropped off her toddler at a home day care Monday returned to the house a few minutes later to make a grisly discovery: three adults inside, shot dead.

The woman’s child was unhurt and no other children were at the day care at the time.

DeLois Brown, 59, was one of the victims killed in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, according to family members, along with her elderly parents James and Clover Bolden.

Police had made no arrests by Monday evening and were seeking a suspect in his mid-20s, believed to have fled on a BMX bicycle.

‘It’s a tragic day for the city of Brooklyn Park,’ Brooklyn Park Police Chief Michael Davis said.

Two nearby community colleges were locked down for several hours after the shootings were reported at 6.30am.

Both had re-opened by Monday afternoon, after police spent the day canvassing the area and using police dogs to search for the suspect.

The day care, called Visions and Butterflies Child Care, is licensed to care for as many as 12 children.

Ms Brown, 59, is listed in state records as the license holder in good standing, with no adverse rulings or restrictions. The license is valid through February 2013.

No one responded to a call to the home Monday afternoon. Police Inspector Todd Milburn said the mother dropped off her child at the house and spoke with someone there.

As she was leaving, she saw a man near the house on foot, and something about him raised her suspicions.

‘There was some reason for her to call back to the home,’ Mr Milburn said.

The woman called the day care and was talking to someone at the house when the line went dead.

She returned to the home and found three people had been shot. She grabbed her child and called 911. Police confirmed the victims were dead when they arrived.

No one else was inside the home when the woman returned, Mr. Milburn said.

He said the woman saw the same suspicious man nearby, on a bicycle, when she returned to the day care.

Police said they had no information on how many children were typically cared for at Brown’s home, or when they were normally dropped off.

A neighbor, Hakeem Hughes, 18, said he heard screaming coming from the direction of the house around 6.30am but didn’t pay much attention because children often played outside the home.

When he went to catch his bus to school, he said police told him to go back inside because a gunman was on the loose.

‘I’m just shocked about it,’ Mr. Hughes said. ‘They are good people. They are innocent people.’

A few hours after the shootings, police tape was stretched around the house, a gray split-level in a modest neighborhood with children’s toys in the fenced backyard.

The Hennepin County sheriff’s crime lab van was parked outside, and authorities went in and out, carrying what appeared to be evidence to the van.

A small group of people stood in the street several houses down, sobbing and hugging each other.

Ms Brown’s LinkedIn profile lists her as follow-up coordinator for Pink Purse Project Inc., a women’s and girls’ empowerment organization.

She worked for nearly nine years in the nearby Osseo Area Schools system as a child care instructor and later child care site supervisor.

Ron Brown, DeLois’ brother-in-law, said DeLois had just moved her parents to Minnesota from the St. Louis area. He said his brother, Joseph, died in February, and DeLois brought her parents up to Minnesota from Illinois just last week so she could take care of them.

‘She called us a week ago today, to say they made it back safe and sound with a truckload of furniture,’ Ron Brown said.

Mr Brown said DeLois and Joseph didn’t have any children together, but DeLois had children before the pair were married.

A neighbor, Lisa Johnson, said that since Joseph died, the house had been busier, with more people coming and going. Johnson said she saw a moving van outside Brown’s home a week ago.

Leave it to Snoop to come up with a book dedicated to getting blazed.  Snoop Dogg will soon release his new book titled “Rolling Words.   A Smokable Songbook.” The pages in the book are made from authentic “smokable” hemp seed paper, and the ink used is non-toxic.  Wait, it gets better, the spine can be used to strike matches.  Snoops says it’s a  promotion for Snoop Dogg’s King-size Slim Rolling Papers.  That kush, that kush has got Snoop by his ears.  What do you think? Will you be copping his new book?  bound to be a collectors item if nothing else.  It’s certainly unique.

Self Proclaimed Mega Millions Winner Claims She Lost Ticket

The woman who claimed to have won the mega millions jackpot now claims that she lost the ticket. “I have no idea where it is. I’m not sure I have it.  I’m still looking for it. I haven’t even looked in my uniform pants yet. I’m still looking everywhere to find it, in my purse, everywhere.”  Oh lord, I have deduced that this woman has been touched. I can see it in her eyes.  Can’t you?

And she didn’t put her kids to work on the treasure hunt even though they have the week off for spring break.

“I wanted to look for it, I was crying. She wouldn’t let us. It’s a lot of money,” lamented her disappointed daughter Stephanie, 15.

The strange confession is the latest bizarre twist in the unfolding mystery as Wilson, 37, keeps changing her story.

The Haitian immigrant set off an international frenzy after telling The Post she had one of three winning tickets in last Friday’s record $656 million Mega Millions jackpot.

If her claim proved legit, Wilson would score an after-tax, lump sum prize of $105 million, or $5.59 million a year for 26 years.

At first, she claimed to have the ticket herself before changing her story to say it was in a safe place at an undisclosed location.

Then on Tuesday she stunned her colleagues at the fast-food joint by saying she’d hidden the elusive ticket somewhere in the suburban Baltimore McDonald’s.

Yesterday, she sounded strangely serene despite the ticket’s mystifying disappearance — leaving her fate to faith.

“It’s a blessing from God. If it’s meant to be, we’ll [find and] claim the ticket,” she said.

White Supremacist Hack Trayvon Martin’s Social Media and Email Accounts

White Klansman Supremacist hacked into Trayvon Martin’s social media and email accounts, then leaked the messages online.  They then proceeded to change the passwords to derogatory passwords like ni**er. Then they went and got real, real clever and  sent messages to and from his account.  *dumb azzes*  All this in an ongoing campaign to tarnish who Trayvon was.

I could careless about what they leak…..changes nothing. It does not change the fact that he was a boy returning from the store; that was followed; then chased, and then gunned down by a wanna be a hero bastard…..and now this.

Brace yourselves.  I only looked at one link.  This mess is way off the scales of what we know as normal, but it’s the work of ignorant Klansman individuals.

The racist smear campaign against Trayvon Martin, the unarmed black teen shot to death last month in Florida, has reached a new level of ghoulishness. A white supremacist hacker says he’s broken into Martin’s email and social networking accounts, and leaked his private Facebook messages. We’ve been able to confirmthat at least one email account that belonged to Martin was cracked.

The hacker, who goes by the name Klanklannon, posted what he said were Martin’s private Facebook messages to the politics section (NSFW) of the anarchic message board 4chan—called “/pol/”—Tuesday afternoon at around noon. The messages were posted on four slides, strategically arranged to back up the insane racist argument that Trayvon was a Scary Black Teenager and so somehow deserved to be killed by neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman that night.

A slide titled “Trayvon Martin Used Marijuana Habitually,” features an exchange between Trayvon and a friend about getting high. Another slide, “Trayvon Martin was a Drug Dealer” features Facebook messages and photos that supposedly prove Martin dealt drugs, including a picture of Martin posing “aggressively with a large amount of cash in his hand.” It’s impossible to verify the hacked messages’ authenticity—like other anti-Trayvon Martin propaganda, they’re probably a mix of real and fake content— but they are now being passed around the racist underbelly of the internet, on message boards like the neo-Nazi hive Stormfront, which Klanklannon apparently frequents, as gospel.

In addition to the Facebook messages, Klanklannon posted a list of usernames and passwords for Martin’s social media and email accounts as proof of his exploits. All of the passwords had been changed to racist slurs. (Gmail: “niggerniggernigger” Twitter: “coontrayvonnigger”)

“I realize that some of this information might be to (sic) extreme to believe,” Klanklannon writes in a copy of the original 4chan thread we’ve obtained. “That’s why I offer you evidence. Here are my sources.”

The list included login details for Martin’s Gmail, Yahoo, MySpace, and Twitter accounts. A source who came across the 4chan post when it was live was able to use the information to log onto Martin’s Gmail account Tuesday night. Our source panicked upon seeing that trolls had started using the account to send emails under Martin’s name, and deleted the account. (An email sent to Martin’s Gmail address bounced back today; Martin’s Twitter account has also been deactivated. His MySpace page is still up, showing that the last login was Tuesday.)

On 4chan, Klanklannon made clear their intention to smear Trayvon. Klanklannon introduces the post with, “Today /pol/, tomorrow CNN.” One 4chan user told us Klanklannon had been attempting to break into Martin’s accounts for days, posting periodic updates to the board.

“Where did all the liberals go?,” Klanklannon taunted after posting his slides. “Did they run off because they can’t handle the facts?”

But Klanklannon included none of Martin’s emails in his leak, because the picture they paint is of a normal high school junior preparing for college. A screenshot of Trayvon’s Gmail inbox our source provided us is heartbreaking. Martin apparently used his Gmail account for his college search, and it’s filled with emails about upcoming SAT tests and scholarship applications. (“Trayvon, now is the best time to take the SATs!”) One email included the results of a career aptitude test, our source said. It “talked about his interest in aeronautics and stuff.”

Klanklannon has proven nothing more than the depths to which the racist amateur detectives who have spent days obsessing over every aspect of Trayvon Martin’s short life will sink in their horrible quest to vet a dead teenager.

New Orleans Cop Suspended After Posting Disturbing Remarks in Trayvon Martin Case

A New Orleans cop was suspended without pay after he made despicable online comments attacking Trayvon Martin and. One comment read, “Eddie come on down to our town with a ‘Hoodie’ and you can join Martin in HELL and talk about your racist stories!:-P”

SMH, that’s really messed up coming from a guy that is suppose to protect and serve everyone.  After comments like that, how can his decisions in law enforcement be deemed unbiased and appropriate?  I wonder what his black co workers feel about this?

A member of the New Orleans Police Dept. has been suspended without pay after incendiary comments attributed to him about the killing of Trayvon Martin were found posted online.

Jason Giroir, the officer, is under investigation after comments were posted on a story about a local rally for Martin published on the WWL-TV website.

“Act like a Thug Die like one!” one comment reads.

Later, Giroir—who identified himself as “Works at NOPD”—responded to another commenter who claimed the initial comment was racially insensitive: “Eddie come on down to our town with a ‘Hoodie’ and you can join Martin in HELL and talk about your racist stories!:-P”

NOPD superintendent Ronal Serpas, who called for the investigation, said the comments “have caused me great concern concerning his fitness for duty.”

“To say that I’m angry is an understatement,” Serpas added. “Let me be clear: the hardworking men and women of the NOPD do not condone such statements.”

Giroir had already been assigned to desk duty for his involvement in a traffic stop that ended in a shootout.

According to WWL-TV, Giroir “pulled over brothers Justin and Earl Sipp for a traffic violation on March 1, and a shootout erupted after two officers were called to the scene to back [him] up.”

Bobby Brown Sister Blames Ray J for Whitney Houston’s Death on Dr Drew Claiming that he gave Whitney Bad Cocaine.Bobby Brown’s sister Leolah Brown made some explosive allegations against Ray J on HLN’s Dr. Drew Show Thursday night.

Brown sat down with Dr. Drew to talk about how she felt after she learned the toxicology reports revealed that Whitney Houston’s cause of death was accidental drowning and the combined effects of heart disease and cocaine use. There were other drugs found in her system that included xanax, marijuana, benadryl, Flexeril but they didn’t contribute to her death.Leolah, who appeared to be very distraught, revealed that she saw Ray J make a quick getaway from the hotel room after Houston’s death.

“I saw Ray J leave the hotel hiding his face that night,” Leolah told Dr. Drew. “I thought that was strange because he always wanted to be seen with her.”

Leolah said Whitney told her that she never had a relationship with Brandy Norwood’s brother, despite rumors that they were in a relationship. Bobby Brown’s sister revealed that Ray J was just a ‘runner boy’ for Whitney. She claims he was the person who allegedly got drugs for the pop legend.

“Whitney laughed when I asked were her and Ray J in a relationship,” Leolah said. “Whitney told me Ray J was her runner boy. Ray J is using Whitney Houston’s name.”Leolah also claims she signed papers for legal guardianship of Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina years ago and she never signed new papers giving up that right. Bobby Brown’s nephew Kelsey Brown added that Pat Houston is manipulating the teen and they are very weary of her.

Jerod Brown, also Bobbi Kristina’s cousin, said he saw Whitney’s brother Gary and Pat come out of the singer’s room after her death with luggage and jewelry. He said it bothered him because as Bobbi Kristina was crying in the hallway they kept walking with the luggage without consoling her.
Leolah said Pat manipulated her way into the family and that Gary was married to Monique Houston at the time they met.

Pic: Woman Bombs Kim Kardashian With Flour

Kim showed up at an event dress in blue blouse and black leather pants.  While on the red carpet she was hit from behind with a whole lot of flour.  Those PETA folks do not play.  See her after the flour incident after the rip.

Kim Kardashian was doused with flour at her perfume launch for True Reflection, by an unidentified Asian woman.  Kim wore a black blazer, leather pants and a blue blouse.  A few moments later she was hit from behind with the flour.

The woman yelled this is for Kris Humphries and then tried to run off.  The woman was arrested and later released.  Kim hasn’t filed ant charges as of yet.

Kris’ reps released a statement at the time, denying that Kris had anything to do with it.

“He would never condone hateful and unacceptable behavior like that to anyone, in any situation,” it said.

The fire department was also called to the scene to inspect the substance, which after several minutes they determined as cooking flour.

Kim laughed it all of and made jokes about the whole thing.

“That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me,” she told E! Online.

“Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that’s a whole lot of translucent powder right there.”
