Reality Fast Forward: Basketball Wives Reunion – Shaunie O’Neal Speaks on the Chaos

This clip shows Shaunie addressing the madness that is Tami and Evelyn. She promises that there will be more balance. Meaning we will see the softer side of the ladies in the next season. I know one thing….Tami is gonna have her azz served up to her on twitter tonight. Folks are already going in and she’s seems to have had as much as she can take. I can’t believe she feels she’s being bullied and is asking not to be called a bish.
It’s hard to ignore the tension between the women in the cast of Basketball Wives this season, and the subject of fighting amongst the women was brought up at today’s taping of the reunion special. Shaunie O’Neal, creator, producer, and occasional bystander and witness to this fighting addressed the issue head-on. In this exclusive clip which was taped just hours ago at the Basketball Wives reunion, Shaunie spoke out about the situation and said “I feel that all these ladies take responsibility for what their actions are…and after seeing ourselves this season, it definitely was a lot more bad than good.” She continued “I’ve really tried to preach the whole ‘Let’s get some balance’ and now I think my voice is resonating.” Watch the clip above to see the full statement Shaunie told the audience today.
In addition, VH1 and Shed Media who co-produce the show have both released statements about the current media attention the show has received.
From Shed:
“Shed Media US is fully committed to telling the compelling stories of the Basketball Wives in a balanced way. Our producing partner Shaunie O’Neal feels strongly about this, and we fully agree with this stance. We support her as she encourages the cast members to work out issues in a non-violent fashion. We look forward to working with her and the rest of the cast on conveying more balance in the next season.”
VH1 also weighs in, saying:
“Our viewers opinions always matter a great deal to us at VH1. Lately, there has been a lot of conversation about Basketball Wives, a series featuring strong, intelligent women with very passionate viewpoints which can sometimes escalate.
We at VH1 agree with and support Shaunie and the show producers’ “no excessive physical confrontations” policy on the series moving forward. We are all committed to balancing the candid, bold excitement that the viewers have come to love in the series with storylines and representations they can be proud of. Shaunie has been a strong advocate for a more balanced approach to the show and we, along with our producing partners at Shed Media, are all in agreement about moving forward with that goal.”

Reality Fast Forward: Sneak Peek – “Basketball Wives” {4:12}
Get More: Basketball Wives (Season 4)
The drama continues…..
Royce is still going through the emotional motions with her dad. She seems to want him to approve of her lifestyle, but clearly he doesn’t. So during their emotional confrontation Dez walks in and more drama ensues. Dez admits that Royce crowds him. This could be the reason why he went sniffing around someone that was not paying him any attention.
Somehow the subject of Tami and Keshia has comeback up. Right now I have no clue how this happened, but I’m willing to bet Suzie’s goofy azz had something to do with it. this girl does everything to try to stay relevant and in the mist of shyt.
Oh yeah there in Tahiti. See you guys on twitter AND facebook tonight.
Tami Roman’s Legal War with Hair Retailer Could Halt “Basketball Wives” Show from Airing
It seems that VH1′s Basketball Wives may have to stop airing Basketball Wives, because of Tami Roman’s legal problems with hair retailer, Créme de la Créme.
Tami was sued by Crème de la Crème hair company for reneging on her endorsement deal and then started to promote her own hairline instead of theirs. Crème de la Crème has asked the court to stop VH1 from showing any segments where Tami promoted her line instead of theirs. In turn Tami is trying to prevent a Texas court from stopping Basketball Wives from airing. She is stressing that millions would suffer if the show is prevented from airing.
Tami is also claiming that she is the victim of this debacle, because Crème de la Crème didn’t pay her on time. She’s claiming that, that move broke any obligation she had to their comapny.
Tami goes on to claim that prohibiting the show from airing would affect “millions of people” and the harm suffered by Crème de la Crème “pales in comparison.”
Roman is asking the court to let the show air as is, along with ordering Crème to remove her name and likeness from any products and pay her court costs. A judge has yet to rule on the case.
This is a hairy azz mess. I guess VH1 should be focused on this matter and not Jennifer. Clearly, they have bigger fish to fry.
Chad Ochocinco Responds to the Non-Mutha F*ckin Fans Boycotting His Show
To brief you, I posted that there were non-mutha f*ckin fans trying to boycott Ev & Chad’s upcoming show on Tuesday. The show will showcase the planning of their upcoming nuptials and ultimately their wedding. There is a petition on change.org boycotting the show because of Evelyn’s classless behavior. Right now, there are more than 5000 petitioners who want to stop VH1 for rewarding Evelyn’s unladylike like behavior. They have even taken the liberty of supplying VH1′s contact information in hopes that you will also inundate them with complaints; all for your convenience.
When a fan updated Chad on the petition’s numbers, Chad responded,” That’s awesome….tell them keep boycotting n good luck”…..(sic)
That’s awesome… tell them keep boycotting n good luck… RT @VH1iNFO: @ochocinco 5000 people want to stop yours and @EvelynLozada show
— Chad Ochocinco (@ochocinco) April 26, 2012
Yet they have supporters who feel that some of you are non-mutha f*ckin factors, who have too much time on your hands. Hence, just some of the tweets.
Do you think she may be acting like to boost ratings or do you think she just being her bullying, violent self?

“Ev & Ocho” Boycotted by Non-Mutha F*ckin Fans
Evelyn and Chad’s new VH1 show titled, “Ev and Ocho” is being boycotted. It seems that viewers are fed up with Evelyn’s wild woman antics and they want to put ish on kick stand. Ev was being dragged all up and through my timeline last night and I tweeted just that…..amongst other things, but I digress. One viewer sought out change.org to launch a formal boycott of her up and coming show based on her wedding to Chad Johnson aka Chad Ochocinco.
The head of the non-muthaf*ckin fans, Alexis M. says, “Evelyn Lozada is a bully. The violence on ‘Basketball Wives’ is horrible and disgraceful. This is not a hate petition against Eveyln Lozada. We simply will not support violence. It hurts to see violence amongst women on television for entertainment purposes. It is not ok for women to hit each other on TV.”
Ev is not conducive to my entertainment needs. Womp Womp!! I’m lying……something about it makes me tune in each week, but it also ticks me off too. Catch22 much? Let me remind folks that those who we love to hate, make a lot of money.

This episode is straight up nonsense too. Of course last weeks fight set up by Evelyn has to wrap up sometime. Last weeks episode ended with Evelyn walking across the table to get at Jennifer for telling Nia she didn’t have anything. It becomes even more obvious that Ev is not happy with Jen’s new circle of friends. There was also an update via TMZ that VH1 is less than pleased with Jennifer’s lawsuit and she was already hanging on by a very thin thread anyway. This was relayed to them by an inside source, so who knows if it’s true or not. See you guys on twitter tonight.
Legal Whispers: Basketball Wives’ Cast Threaten to Boycott Reunion Show Over Lawsuit
The majority of the Basketball Wives cast are refusing to tape the reunion show because of the lawsuit Jennifer Williams filed. I’m sure we all know whose doing the threatening. I’m no attorney, but isn’t there a law against witness intimidation, threatening a witness, tampering with evidence and extortion? I’m just saying. I really believe these girls are mad that Jen has broken off in to popular circles and they just want some of it too. Envy is so about their lives.
Several “Basketball Wives” are adamantly refusing to tape the big upcoming reunion show next month, TMZ has learned — and it’s all because of the face-slap lawsuit Jennifer Lawrence filed against Nia Crooks.
As we reported, Jennifer is suing Nia for assault and battery over a January 21st incident at a race track in Florida — when Nia slapped Williams in the side of the head after a nuclear argument (below). Jennifer says she was injured badly during the attack.
But according to sources at VH1, the cast mates are convinced Jennifer’s lawsuit was filed out of spite and desperation to dredge up drama around her character — in the vain hope of securing a spot on the show next season. Our sources also think Jennifer’s claim of emotional distress is BS because she never missed a day of shooting.
We’re told several prominent cast members have vowed to shun her completely … refusing to even speak to Jennifer — and are threatening not to attend the reunion show early next month if she attends.
And there’s this — the contract signed by the “Wives” cast mates specifically states …. “Participant expressly assumes the risk of any physical or emotional injuries participant may suffer as a result of participant’s participation in the project.”"

Basketball Wives’ Jennifer Williams Files Lawsuit in Slapping Incident
I want to first say that I made light of this situation and also joked about this incident. I want to say that it was a tasteless and insensitive move on my part and I truly apologize for actions. To see it play out like it did was really sad. To watch a person that clearly did not want to fight be attacked was just ridiculous. I hope Jennifer gets what she wants in the end.
“Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams is filing a lawsuit accusing Nia Crooks of slapping her in the face during a taping of the reality show. Jennifer also has filed a complaint with the state attorney’s office in Florida, said lawyer Sanford Rubenstein.
“Violence used against any person is wrong but when a woman hits another woman it sets a horrible example for young girls everywhere. I chose to use the justice system to fight back.”
Nia Crooks, is a personal assistant to “Basketball Wives” co-star Evelyn Lozada. Nia slapped Jenn while VH1 cameras were rolling Jan. 21 in the presidential suite of the Gulfstream Park racetrack in South Florida.
Jennifer, who lives in New Jersey, filed the suit in Manhattan Supreme Court because Crooks lives in East Harlem.
Jennifer claims she is still suffering from a whiplash-like neck injury and post traumatic stress stemming from the slap, which was seen in the episode that aired Monday.
“I was sitting at the conference room table and this girl starts arguing with me out of nowhere. She’s not even on the show. I didn’t watch the video for a long time because I lived it. It’s disturbing. It’s humiliating. I get anxiety just thinking about it. She hit me with her open hand on my cheek. I’ve never been hit in my life.”
I thought I could see redness on her cheek, but it could have been too much makeup. IDK
Williams insists the incident was not scripted and the slap was the intentional act of Nia alone.
The suit seeks unspecified monetary and punitive damages from Nia. VH1 is not named as a defendant.
Basketball Wives Ep. 9 Highlights (Video) and Recap
Last night episode of Basketball Wives was a trip. I wasn’t able to go in like I wanted to last night. Clearly there are not enough characters on twitter for all of this. Not to mention, continuity wouldn’t be the same.
First, I must have missed the letter that Jennifer sent to the producers, because that was the first time I heard of it. Now I’m no business mogul, but aren’t those type of legalities best dealt with between the head honchos? I mean, didn’t she send the letter to the producers? Even if it wasn’t, someone clearly missed out on business ethics 101. There’s a way that you handle things and that was not the business…..
Second, If no one caught Evelyn setting up that whole thing……come on. That was some ignorant mess and it was based off of some straight up nonsense. All of that anger did not derive from one of Jen’s blog posts. It just seems like Jennifer decided to branch off and hang around others; did not include Evelyn, and now her feelings are hurt. Maybe Jennifer knew their tenacity to act like an “animal” would eventually bare it’s claws and she decided not to include her. Clearly, Jennifer was right to eliminate both of them from her lives. The type of people she now surrounds herself with are not into jumping on tables, tossing bottles, and setting up bully forums.
Jen voiced her feeling about last night on her infamous blog. Here is the link.
My rant is complete.
BTW Royce is not having a good day today. He beloved may be cheating on her. Ouch…..more later
Audio: Jennifer Williams Talks the Slap, the Newbies, and Royce w/ TT Torez
Jennifer Williams called into iPower 92.1 to chat with TT Torrez where she got into the juicy details about her getting smacked around on “Basketball Wives.”
They talk about Jennifer and Evelyn’s falling out. I think we are all in agreement that the mess is just trivial. They also chat up about Evelyn’s assistant and the infamous stolen keys. They also talk about the new girls.
I think I’ve heard enough about that slap.
