A woman is fighting for her life, after a shopping cart was pushed off a ledge by a group of kids in East Harlem.  The cart landed on her head.  The 47 year old woman was leaving out of the Target with her 10 year old son when all this happened.  Witnesses say they heard one of the boys trying to stop them, but they did it anyway.  He was heard saying, “Don’t do it”  The witness said she heard the other boy respond with, “Whatever happens, happens.”

Witnesses said, The cart bounced off a sign before it landed on the woman’s head.  She immediately collapsed.  Her son, a young boy about 10 years old, was on top of her crying,”  She is a still listed in critical condition.

Two 12-year old boys are in custody. They face assault charges and criminal possession of weapon.  The weapon is said to be the cart. They’ll be charged as juveniles.  I wonder if she dies if they will charge them as adults.  That mess was a truly reckless thing to do.  Bad azz bastards.

A 31-year-old man has been charged after his ex-girlfriend accused him of physically and sexually assaulting her while holding her captive in her own Denver home for two months.   The 32-year-old woman reportedly escaped her alleged captor, ex-boyfriend Eric Bernard Barney Jr, two weeks ago and called her brother for help, according to an arrest affidavit.   The victim was taken to a hospital where doctors found she had two broken ribs, a broken nose and visible bruising on her face.   They had only dated five months. On July 25, hospital staff reported that they had a patient who was badly beaten, had a broken nose and required stitches for cuts to her face.   The victim told police that Crazy Barney had tried to kill her by strangling her and smothering her with a pillow.   Police obtained an arrest warrant for Crazy  Barney, but could not find his crazy azz, and the woman was released from the hospital.   Four days later, he allegedly showed up inside the woman’s home while she was sleeping.   It was there, behind caged windows, she was allegedly held captive and repeatedly assaulted for two months.   In an arrest affidavit, the victim told police ‘the suspect would force her to stay in her bedroom unless he gave her permission including times when she needed to use the restroom. Police searched the home after she broke free, and reportedly found blood stained walls and mattresses.   The victim said that Crazy Barney told the woman if she tried to call 911, ‘she would be dead before she hung up the phone.’ He also threatened her family.   Crazy Barney also has a 2004 first-degree murder charge.   He is in Denver jail facing charges of sexual assault causing serious bodily injury, sexual assault, false imprisonment and menacing.   He’s being held on $150,000 bail. I hope he doesn’t get his 10% and get’s out on bail………

A 21-year-old major league baseball prospect was cold busted last week trying to sneak (pun intended) more than six pounds of cocaine into JFK Airport in his sneakers.

Customs and Border Protection officers arrested Christian Martinez after they found the drugs stuffed inside the soles of four pairs of his tennis shoes that were in his possession, after he flew in from Dominican Republic on June 29, 2011.

Christian “was” a prospect for the Tampa Bay Rays until the team learned his visa was invalid.  They say the drugs  had a street value of more that $138,000.

As soon as you start dating someone I think it’s fine to perform a background check, ask around and run from warning signs. Your child comes first. The world and people are forever changing and you should trust no one. You may even question a family member these days. The world is the way it is now and you must act accordingly. There’s nothing normal about the world we live in. You must think outside the box when it come to dating.

A Phoenix man brutally beat and bit his girlfriend’s 3-year-old daughter to death – and nearly did the same to her year-old sister, police said.

Martwane Mackey admitted to authorities he assaulted both girls, but denies killing the elder one, the Arizona Republic reported Tuesday.

The 18-year-old claims young Ty’Shea Austin suffered a “choking and respiratory incident” Saturday, while he was watching the girl and her little sister, Zariah, police said.

His girlfriend, Qnique Thues, was at work at the time. The couple lived together.

Mackey said he did not immediately call 911 or take the child to the hospital, but instead struck and bit the toddler to revive her, authorities said in a police report.

Mackey eventually called 911 from a pay phone around 2 a.m. Saturday, police said. When cops arrived, they found him with the 3-year-old in his arms.

Martwane Mackey is suspected of killing the 3-year-old child of his girlfriend.

“Officers attempted CPR and were ultimately unable to revive this child,” said Phoenix Police Sgt. Steve Martos, KPHO 5 reported.

Officers saw bruises and bite marks on her head and body, police said, and Zariah had similar injuries. She was hospitalized and is in stable condition.

Authorities arrested Mackey for first-degree murder and child abuse.

“He’s a monster, and people need to know he’s a monster,” Rhonda Brown, Ty’Shea and Zariah’s grandmother, told ABC 15 News. “I don’t think death is good enough for him, I think he needs to be beaten like he beat her.”

The family does not have enough money for a funeral. They are seeking donations, which can be made through Wells Fargo to the Ty’Shea and Zariah Memorial Fund, or via the account number 9373518860.

She felt that something about the lady who she thought was her mother wasn’t right, so she started investigating.  After 23 years she has been reunited with her real parents and family.  She has also learned she has a younger sibling.  No charges have been filed and NY Post gives you more deets as follows:

Cuddled on a couch in a Midtown hotel suite last night, Joy White and long-lost daughter Carlina began to bridge 23 years that were stolen from them, each telling The Post in exclusive interviews that now, at last, “I feel complete.”

“When I see my mother, I see myself,” said the vivacious 5-foot-2 Carlina, who could not tear her eyes from Joy.

“I see the smile, the lips the chin, and the legs — we all have flat knees,” she giggled.

“I’m just amazed. I feel like I’m in a dream. I see my face in both my parents. I get my eyes from my father.”

Looking around the hotel room at her dad, Carl Tyson, mom Joy and other ecstatic relatives, all the terrible years apart seemed hardly to matter.

“Talking to her doesn’t feel disconnected,” Carlina said. “They were always there, but just missing. Now I feel complete.”

Watching her grown-up baby girl, Joy burst with pride.

“I see myself, too,” she marveled. “I see my face, but with a smaller body,” sweetly hugging the daughter she had longed to hold.

“I see Carl in her eyes. I see my forehead, my eyebrows, my chin.

“She’s just like me,” Joy said, laughing.

“We like the same colors. We like our houses to be clean. We can’t go to sleep without the dishes being washed.”

The mom and daughter listened to one another’s memories of years missing so much.

Joy lost a daughter.

Carlina lost her youth.

“I was exposed to a lot of stuff at a young age,” Carlina told The Post. “I never really talked about it. There were always drugs lying around. I used to see weapons.”

Her kidnapper and fake mom — “she was an addict,” Carlina said — was often in a drug haze.

“They have this moment when they get off [the drugs] — it seems to turn them into a monster,” Carlina said. “When she woke up, I used to get out of the house.”

By 17, she said, she moved out — a young mother herself.

And it was in that time period where Carlina said she began her unwavering hunt for the piece of her life she felt must be missing — the identity that her fake mother finally confessed stealing.

“Can I get my birth certificate?” Carlina said she asked her “mom” when she was pregnant at 16. “And she said, ‘I’m going to go ahead and get it,’ but she never bothered herself to get it,” Carlina said.

Refusing to be rebuffed, Carlina rifled through her mother’s purse and found a phony certificate.

“What is going on?” she recalled wondering, and when she confronted her “mom,” “She was upset, she was like, ‘Why did you go ahead and do that? You messed everything all up.’ “I thought, ‘what the hell do you mean?’ ” adding that later that week, her mother finally fessed up to the identity lie. “She was crying on the bed, saying ‘I’m so sorry,’ ” Carlina recalled. “Your mother just left you. She was a drug addict. She probably died of AIDS.”

But the lie did not convince Carlina — she pressed her search for Joy.

“I started looking outside the box,” she said.

She found an Internet site that linked to the Center for Missing and Exploited Children — and a baby picture of Carlina that broke her heart.

“It was like looking at a picture of my daughter,” she said. “I thought, maybe this could be it.”

It was.

“I guess she thought I was never going to find out — but I did,” Carlina said.

Sad that Dr. King’s “Dream” has reached another hurdle.  Obviously the struggle continues.    I’ve come to the conclusion that”The Dream” is clearly unattainable.  At this point I think that Dr. King gave us a goal and hope for us to better understand each other and to resolve issues without violence.  At best we can try to lessen the occurrences, since they’ll never go away.

The FBI offered a reward Tuesday for information about a potentially lethal bomb found in a backpack along the downtown route of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade.

The discovery before Monday’s parade for the slain civil rights leader raised the possibility of a racial motive in a region that has been home to the white supremacist Aryan Nations.

“The confluence of the holiday, the march and the device is inescapable,” said Frank Harrill, special agent in charge of the Spokane FBI office. “But we are not at the point where we can draw any particular motive.”

He called the planting of the bomb an act of domestic terrorism that was clearly designed to advance a political or social agenda.

The suspicious backpack was spotted by three city employees about an hour before the parade was to start, Harrill said. They looked inside, saw wires and immediately alerted law enforcement.

The parade route was changed to avoid the device. A bomb disposal unit disabled it without incident, he said.

Harrill declined to release details of the device, other than to call it a functional bomb that could have caused multiple casualties.

“The potential for injury and death were clearly present,” Harrill said.  The FBI received no warnings in advance and did not have a suspect, Harrill said. No one has claimed credit for planting the bomb.

I don’t know what was on his mind.  You do not put you hands on people like that.  He must have it on his mind that a uniform gives him that right.  No sir, not that uniform.  Even cops have limits to the amount of force they use and need to make judgment calls that prevent them from using too much force if any.  Plus, he looked like he punched her too.  He better hope her sons, nephews or whatever don’t catch up with his arse.  He may have bigger fish to fry.

Okay this is the 2nd time a former contestant from the show was charges with a serious crime. Former contestant Baron Colon aka Dirty has been charges with murder.  The charge stems from a robbery gone wrong that he allegedly committed in 2006.  He was actually being investigated during the taping of the show.  Another guy from  the show was charged with abusing his daughter.

Police arrested Colon last week, charging him with the murder of a Kendall artist during a botched heist.

Colon, 24, of Miami Gardens, was a finalist on the second season of MTV’s From G’s to Gents, which offered $100,000 to the “real” gangster who most turned his life around. He competed against 15 contestants on the show, which claims to transform “rough-around-the-edges young men” into dapper, successful gentlemen.

He is charged in the January 2006 slaying of artist Marcelo Vera, and according to police was a suspect in the case even as he jetted off to Los Angeles to tape the show.

Investigators got a break last year when a confidential informant secretly recorded Colon confessing to intimate details only the killer would know, according to an arrest warrant filed in court.

Colon is jailed with no bond on charges of first-degree murder and armed burglary. He faces arraignment Jan. 28 in Miami-Dade circuit court.

From G’s to Gents is hosted by former P. Diddy assistant Fonzworth Bentley. The executive producer is actor Jamie Foxx.

In his show biography, Colon claims his mother threw him in the trash as a baby, and that she later died of a drug overdose. After stints in juvenile detention and foster care, he became a barber, Colon told the show.

Catya was released from a Philadelphia jail Friday after spending a few days behind bars for violating her probation … a violation that stems from a massive drug and gun bust back in November.

According to court records, Catya has been placed back on a house arrest program … in which she is allowed to leave her home during the day, but must return by 6PM  … including weekends.

As we first reported, Catya was arrested a few days before New Year’s on an outstanding bench warrant — which we’re told was issued because she wandered too far outside her designated house arrest perimeter.

Catya’s due back in court Thursday to face drug and weapons charges stemming from her November arrest — when cops allegedly found her carrying a firearm … plus ecstasy, mushrooms, and cocaine.
