Jay-Z says he STRONGLY believes gay people deserve the right to get married … claiming discriminating against a gay person is the same as discriminating against a black person.

Jay — arguably the most powerful person in hip hop — discussed the issue with CNN … saying President Obama’s decision to come out in support of gay marriage was “the right thing to do.”

“I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love.”

He continued, “That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”

Jay announced a two-day music festival in the City of Brotherly Love.

The “Budweiser Made in America” festival will feature nearly 30 acts “that embody the American spirit” across three stages at Fairmount Park on Sept 1. and Sept. 2, which is Labor Day weekend.

“It’s such an iconic place, so it felt like a natural fit,” Jay-Z said of Philadelphia in an interview after the press conference. “You’ll get to come out and have two great days, listen to some amazing music (and) discover some new bands.”

Jay-Z was joined by Mayor Michael Nutter on Monday atop the city’s art museum steps, made famous by Rocky. The festival will benefit United Way Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

The New York-born rapper said 70 percent of the acts are confirmed, and will include rap, rock, R&B, Latin and dance performers.

“I’ve always believed in great music,” Jay-Z said. “I don’t believe in the lines that separate music … that’s for people that can’t easily define what they’re hearing, so they have to put it in some sort of box. Me, I listen to anything I like.”

Tickets for the festival go on sale May 23.

A feverish crowd of fans was on hand, chanting his name. When one yelled out that Jay-Z’s was the best, the rapper paused and said: “I agree.” LMAO…He’s a part time comedian.

The 42-year-old entrepreneur also talked about a film deal between his Roc Nation imprint and Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment. He said they’re close to completing the film “Annie,” which will star Smith’s daughter, singer Willow.

“We’ll be producing a number of films,” he said. “We may have another (film) that comes before it, but we’re looking at shooting `Annie’ pretty soon. (We’re) just getting script together and that’s pretty close.”

Jay-Z and Beyonce had their first daughter, Blue Ivy, in January. He said of Beyonce’s first Mother’s Day: “Amazing. I can just imagine that sort of feeling. It was pretty good for her.”

Beyoncé and Jay-Z were spotter enjoying a romantic holiday in St Barts with a bit of PDA. The duo held hands as they walked along, looking chill and happy as they were spotted boarding a boat.  Beyoncé wore  paisley kaftan, worn over a blue swimsuit, as she carried a striped bag and metallic flat sandals. She accessorized her outfit with sunglasses and a large pair of hoop earrings, wearing her light brown hair  in a bun. Jay-Z went for a similarly relaxed look in a pale blue unbuttoned shirt, a pair of light brown checked shorts and some cream plimsoll-type shoes.

I was going to pass on posting this because everyone, and their pals posted it, but then I said; “fagetaboutit.”  Anywhoo…….

First off, BIGGA shared their fourth anniversary yesterday.  Jay was spotted with the infamous Jacob the Jeweler and this fueled rumors that he may be looking to buy his boo a blue diamond.   Blue’s daddy seemed to have left without anything, but gift wrapping, and delivery could have been in the cards.  Star magazine is also reporting another wedding for the duo and  it’s

suppose to be catered by Nobu.  Sounds a little far fetched to me.  If they were actually planning another wedding, we certainly wont hear about it until the day of…..meaning, you need more folks.

Blue Ivy’s mama sent out her very first tweet to her 3.5 million followers and myself this morning.  It read:

Beyonce also revealed a few of her personal moments of her life on her new  Tumblr website.  It features intimate pictures of Bee and Jay  with family and friends.  Bumble Bee wrote, “This is my life, today, over the years – through my eyes…….. My family, my travels, my love. This is where I share with you. This will continue to grow as I do.”

Those two have been together a long time, and still are very close, and very in love.  It’s so rare to find love like that.  Lord knows I’m still trying.  When more people learn that life is too short for those asinine games; more people can find love too.  Things just don’t sync up when one person or even both are playing games.  It’s so frustrating, but I digress.

There was a video of the two taking a walk at some beautiful unknown place.  Jay was holding the camera and Bey wore that infamous white ruffled bikini while carrying a very visible bump.  They came to a tree with what appeared to have blue ivy growing on the trunk.  Beyonce called the reveal “quite appropriate.”  Leading one to believe that the two had already named their bundle “Blue Ivy.”  The Bigga union is like the greatest love story of all time.  So special!!!

Jay-Z was spotted being inundated by fans at the  Final Four game between the Kentucky and Louisville.    J Hov was also spotted “outside” the Kentucky locker room in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome before tip off.   Surely he played it safe this year and did not enter.  As you may recall Jay was fined $50,000 for fraternizing with the ballers last year.  Staying in mogul mode, he’s no doubt keeping a watchful eye on Nets prospects.
