Snoop and the Marley Siblings were spotted at the LA premiere of the long waited biopic, “Marley.”  Snoop was all smiles as he hung out with his idols children and  wore a Bob Marley medallion proudly around his neck.  Bob’s two daughters, Karen, and Cedella; sons, Ziggy, Rohan, and Robbie were all proudly present as well.  The movie spans from around 1977,  the very time Bob was diagnosed with cancer after a soccer injury, and all they way until his death at the very young age of 27 in 1981.  It’s also during the time he left Jamaica to live in London after an attempt was made on his life.   It was  then that Bob started an affair with Miss World, Cindy Breakspeare while he was married to his wife Rita Marley as well.  So the movie will be pretty interesting.   UW spoke about the movie before and it’s also where you can read more on the movie.

Leave it to Snoop to come up with a book dedicated to getting blazed.  Snoop Dogg will soon release his new book titled “Rolling Words.   A Smokable Songbook.” The pages in the book are made from authentic “smokable” hemp seed paper, and the ink used is non-toxic.  Wait, it gets better, the spine can be used to strike matches.  Snoops says it’s a  promotion for Snoop Dogg’s King-size Slim Rolling Papers.  That kush, that kush has got Snoop by his ears.  What do you think? Will you be copping his new book?  bound to be a collectors item if nothing else.  It’s certainly unique.

Snoop and fam hit up the red carpet August 26, 2011 in Hollywood, California.

Snoop has joined forces with Warner Brothers and is gettin’ his feet wet within the sitcom world.   It’ll be a family oriented sh0w where nephew will play the father.  He will also be teamed up with Don Reo.  Reo was the co-creator of My Wife and Kids.   He was also involved with Brother’s and Two and a Half Men.  With that said, Snoop knows what he’s doing.  I is definitely time to get his feet wet in other things.  Well he can’t rap forever and the checks must continue to roll in steadily, and surely.  Don’t forget I told you he landed a major film role as Fillmore Slim.

Snoop is trying to get a hip hop reality show up and going and Wiz Khalifa shows interest in the project.  Word is that he also wants Jay Z in on the gig.   So far Bravo, Oxygen and NBC are not interested, but MTV and VH1 of course are a bit interested.   Inside sources contemplate that it’ll be a hot as American Idol.  Good luck with that Nephew.

Snoop tweeted a pic of his new tatt

Nate Dogg died of congestive heart failure on March 15 at the age of 41.  He was well known for his collaborations with musicians including Snoop, Eminem, and Dr. Dre.  You may also recall that Nate was in the movie Head of State with Chris Rock.

“We lost a true legend in hip hop and R&B,” Snoop tweeted. “One of my best friends and a brother to me since 1986, when I was a sophomore…I love u buddy luv. U will always be with me forever and a day. You put the ‘G’ in G funk. You put the ’1′ n 213. And you put yo stamp on everybody you ever did it with.”
