Since T.I. just wrapped up filming “The Family Hustle,” he has time to embark on new endeavors.  This one being a long term acting gig.  T.I. has just landed what sounds like a pivotal role in the second season of Boss.  T.I. whispered about major new gig, but we had to wait on the news.  Unless there is another one, I think the wait is over   With that being said, the hustle continues.  That’s what I’m talking about!!

Rapper-actor T.I. has landed a season-long guest arc on the upcoming second season of the Starz drama series Boss, which begins production in Monday in Chicago. The Lionsgate TV-produced series stars recent Golden Globe winner Kelsey Grammer as ruthless Chicago mayor Tom Kane. T.I. will play Trey, a former gangbanger with designs on a career in Chicago’s City Hall who represents a symbiosis between politics and crime in Chicago. He is the conduit between a local Alderman and the only group powerful enough to function as a grassroots organization in the projects – gangs. T.I., repped by Category 5, was last seen on the big screen co-starring in Sony’s Takers, and on the small screen on his VH1 docu series Family Hustle.

T.I. had the honor of hanging out with one of the coolest brothas in the game, Robert Deniro.  You can see by the big smile on T.I. face he really got a kick out of it.

File this under things you never thought you’d see: Rap superstar T.I. hanging out at an Atlanta nightclub … with 68-year-old Robert De Niro … and TMZ has the pics.

We’re told the two did NOT arrive together … De Niro originally hit the club — called Vanquish — with a friend right when the place opened. But a few hours later, T.I. rolled in … and when he heard the Oscar winner was in the house, he HAD to meet him.

Sources say the two got along GREAT … and spent the rest of the night talking and “chillin’ together.”

We’re told Trey Songz and Fabolous were also at the club … and both made sure to go over to De Niro to shake his hand.

So, T.I. & Tiny wants to show us “The Family Hustle.”  I was really surprised to hear that T.I. was taking on  a reality show because he opening stated he opposed them and wanted privacy in his home.  This was why Tiny quit the show she had with Toya.  I guess he has something to prove to his fans.  Anywhoz, this looks like it’s gonna be good.  Needles to say, I’ll be tuning in to check out “The Family Hustle.”

Well sorta…..He quietly reported back to the halfway house as he was originally scheduled to do.    They knew they were being silly about their BS reasoning and threw in the towel.

 T.I. has just returned to a halfway house to complete his prison sentence

T.I.’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, tells TMZ, “We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.’s rights by providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information and that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta.”

Sadow adds, “T.I. will be released from custody on Sept. 29, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of 1 year.”

T.I. was taken back into custody because prison officials believed he had people from his reality show on the bus that took him to his halfway house.

According to the incident report, when T.I. was released from prison on August 31, he was under specific instructions to be transported to his halfway house to serve his 30 days.  He was only to travel with Tiny and was not suppose to conduct business on the bus.

Prison officials feel that he had VH1 producers and his managers on the bus and that they were conducting business.  I guess bloggers and news personnel reporting the heck out of him taping his new reality show d*mn sure didn’t help his cause.    Anyway, they did not believe the T.I wasn’t conducting business and hauled him back to the federal pokey.

Even if he was, so what.  What a waste of tax payers money.  They ultimately sent him back to jail for getting his ish together.

Gosh, this dude really works fast and or has some good peeps on his team.  Well you may have already heard that T.I has been released to a halfway house.  Well hours later, it has been announced that the soon to be free homie, will be doing a reality show.  VH1 just announced it has greenlighted a new 10-episode reality series based off his release from prison.  The show will premiere in December.  No title has been decided on as of yet.

VH1 sent out a bit of a hint to the concept of the show: “Can the King stay on the straight and narrow while juggling the chaos of his kingdom?”   They say we will be able to see him reunited with his family.  I thought this was a huge turn around, since T.I. was rumored to like his privacy at the home front.  I’ll tune in.  Will you?

Tiny was caught red handed handling a wifely duty during a prison visit to T.I……..how embarrassing.  TMZ’s nasty arse got the deets first and they follow:

Rapper T.I. got in some serious trouble with prison officials this weekend — after guards caught the most famous inmate in Arkansas getting “frisky” with his wife during visiting hours … TMZ has learned.

T.I.’s wife Tiny confirms … the two were in a room together during regular visiting hours at Arkansas State Prison when Tiny made like Michael Jackson … and beat it.

According to prison guidelines, inmates are allowed to kiss and embrace at the beginning and at the end of a visit as well as hold hands — but “the inmate’s hands must remain in plain view of Visiting Room staff at all times.”

Tiny tells us T.I. was immediately reprimanded and sent to a  “Special Housing Unit” — which consists of more security and less freedom.

Tiny says she hasn’t spoken to T.I. since the incident — but she’s hopeful she’ll be allowed to visit again soon … as long as she keeps her hand to herself.
