Fellas, Check Out Dolce & Gabanna’s F/W 2013 Bow Tie Line w/ a Twist….

Posted August 27, 2012 3:40 PM By Deirdre B Pride

…..yes, the corny pun was intended.  You didn’t think I forgot about you did you?  Fellas, check out these bow ties.  They seem to give you that polished  look with a smidgen of edge and I like’em.  You can dress them up or down.  Don the polished and upscale look, or flaunt it in a relaxed, and more laid back mode.  Maybe sport one with jeans or slacks sans the blazer.  Check out D&G’s spiel:

Reveal the dandy in you! Interpreted as geek chic, or vintage elegance, for FW13 the floppy, oversize printed bowtie is dandyish and glamorous.

Well fellas, “Would You Rock?”

Fellas, Would You Rock……Louis Vuitton Metal Lace Up Shoes? (3)

Posted August 9, 2012 11:40 AM By Deirdre B Pride

The same is true with these new metal infused lace-up shoes from the new Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2012 Men’s Collection. The shoes feature metallic details on the side-panels and metal details on the lacing and the toe box. For those among you that do not find the leather versions bold enough, you still have the choice to go with the fur option.

Look out for the shoes to arrive at Louis Vuitton flagship stores now.

The fellas at knows how to serve up polish.  The fur ones are sick.  This is footwear!!

Ladies, Would You Rock…..This Zany 3D Nail Art?

Posted August 8, 2012 7:53 PM By Deirdre B Pride

Of course a lot of the styles have the kiddies in mind, So I really don’t believe most of you would rock some of these styles.  These amazing designs are the brainchild of 24 year-old .  She started this trend when she was about 16 and she has been rocking them every since.  She has more styles at her Deviant site.  Check them out.  This chick definitely has a zeal for art.  Check out her spiel:

My name is Kayleigh and I am 24. I’m from Birmingham (UK) and I’m studying Media at BCU (almost finished… Hopefully).

I started glueing on false nails when I was around 16/17 (because I bit my own so badly that they looked like something out of a horror film – and not in a good way). After a while I started painting designs on them so they didn’t look so boring, and then it went a bit crazy, with different shapes sizes and all that… Now I mainly make them for fun and like to change them a few times a week :)

I never used to take pictures of my nails until people started telling me I should (and, I found out that if I kept some sort of blog somewhere, I’d get a better mark for one of my old Uni assignments :P). So, that’s why I’ve started keeping pictures of them before they get lost or broken (which is usually what happens).

Ladies, Would You Rock….This AK-47 Inspired Manicure?

This is so up Rihanna’s lane. A bit much for my taste, but interesting all the same. Welp ladies, would you rock? I know the masses would decline. I thought this was so tripped out that I had to share.

Catch rock ‘n roll fever with new arrivals from the Autumn/Winter 12 collection. From sequin detailing to edgy patchwork, what’s on your wish list?

I think the collection works. The colors are on point with the season and they will certainly mesh with the current trends. I particularly found the color blocking layers so rock-able. Welp, ladies would you rock?

Hey, I call things like I see them, and keeping it one hundred is what I do.  Ghetto folks that wanna parlay as boujee, are painting the bottoms of their shoes red to simulate Christian Louboutins.  People are always finding new ways to keep up with the Joneses, but not.

Sales of red gloss colors such as Duracoat’s ‘Flame’ and ‘Show Stopper’ have soared by 40 per cent compared to the same period last year and Homebase claim the surge is due to women copying the Louboutin shoes worn by their style icons which retail for up to £635.

Christian Louboutin famously came up with the idea of giving all his designs a distinctive red sole in 1992 after painting an assistant’s nail polish onto the bottom of a pair of shoes, because he felt the shoes “lacked energy”. A legend was born, and in no time, flashing a red sole became a badge of honor for the fashion pack and Hollywood stars alike.

Claire Stevenson, 24, a PA from Croydon, wanted her dream pair of Louboutins to wear to her cousin’s wedding and confessed to using the DIY trick.

She said: “There was no way I could afford to buy a pair of Louboutin heels, but I had my heart set on them and felt the pressure to be fashionable at the occasion.

“I bought a £20 pair of plain black shoes and a tester pot and recreated the designer look at home. I carefully painted the soles, let them dry overnight, and by the next day they were ready to wear.

‘I received so many compliments at the wedding about my gorgeous shoes but I didn’t have the heart to confess they were DIY fakes. It was such a success I plan on doing the same for another pair of heels.”

Well, would you rock or shall I say have you rocked DIY Loubous?

Who me?  Hex no.  It’s just not that serious to me.  I’m cool with my BCBG, Steve Madden etc.  Not to mention, I have seen affordable  Don’t look at me if they aren’t real, but I assume it’s better than pulling out a can of d*mn paint.  Not to mention, I bought a pair of Jimmy Choos for about $150 bucks from the Sax 5th Ave outlet store, so there are other ways around it.

Hey do you, I just don’t think it should be this serious.

Pfffft and Hmpt

Would You Rock? $1 Million Diamond and Solid Gold Bra

Posted July 13, 2012 9:05 AM By Deirdre B Pride

A bra has just gone on sale for $1million.  It consists of 500 carats of diamonds, and molded out of 18 carat gold.  The bra at Birmingham Estate and Jewelry Buyers took a crew of 40 workers almost a year to make and weighs in at nearly 1kg,.

It pales in comparison to the Victoria’s Secret $2.5million bra, worn by Miranda Kerr last year, consisting of pearls, yellow diamonds, with 750 grams of solid gold.

‘The difference between this bra and the Victoria’s Secret bras is the Victoria’s Secret bras have fabric in them and the diamonds are kind of imbedded into the fabric. This, there’s no fabric in it whatsoever, it’s just solid gold.’

Well ladies, even if you could afford it, would you rock?   What’s my take you ask?  You can feed a lot of folks with the needless contraption.

Well ladies what do you think?  I’m thinkin’ this it’s hot….d*mn hot.  Keep in mind that it’s not ready to wear it’s couture.  So some of the pieces are over the top, but I had the proper destination they’d definitely get rocked.  This line is doing a lot for me right now.  Was there anything that I didn’t like you ask?   I’m not particularly keen on metallics.  Well ladies, Would you rock?
